Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I spilled some paint on my carpet what do I do?A: Do not try and clean it by rubbing the paint with a cloth. It will cause the paint to go further into your carpet and padding. When it gets into your padding it makes it worse and harder to come out. Some situations the padding has to be replaced. Also do not use any chemicals trying to get it up. There could be a reaction like bleaching. The best thing to do is get a wet (make sure not too wet) white cloth and lay it over the paint. The goal is to keep it wet and closer to the surface. Then pick up the phone and call All Star Steamer and we will make sure to clean it up like it never happened.
Q: I got some blood on my carpet, help!
A: Best thing to do is absolutely nothing. Call All Star Steamer right away. All Star Steamer has a special formula that will get that blood out of your carpet. Just like the paint, do not rub it in. It will just go further down into the carpet and your padding. Do not use any chemicals because it could prevent us from being able to use our product as it could create a reaction.
The main thing with spills is to NOT use any chemicals or do not try to rub it clean. We have seen a lot of carpets being ruined by such chemicals because they bleach the color out of your carpet. Rubbing it will make it go further into the carpet and padding sometime which can cause you to replace your padding. The best thing to do is call us right away and we will come out and take care of it for you. It will be like it never happened and best of all you won't have to replace your carpet and padding.
